We ended last time with the question - "Have our children been getting a Babylonian education?" We know from history whenever and wherever despotic activity occurs dissidents are exterminated, eliminated and expelled, and the children of the land are educated to lockstep with the State. Whether by rapid revolution or slow-paced subterfuge faith and freedom are quashed.
It would require a giant leap to suggest such a thing has happened in the United States in the last few decades. We've not seen a sudden rush of tyranny overtake the land nor any of the usual oppression that accompanies usurpation. There has been no attempt to retrain our kids in religion, culture and political dogmas. Right? Right???
We haven't exterminated Judeo-Christian teachings and replaced them with Secular Humanist doctrines like there is no prayer-hearing God to seek and worship and we've evolved by chance to become the highest forms of life, making us our own master's - have we? We're certainly not teaching our kids that in school - are we?
We haven't eliminated Judeo-Christian principles and replaced them with the Humanist's "there are no absolutes", "if it feels good do it" and "you decide what's right and wrong" - have we? We're certainly not teaching our kids that in school - are we?
We haven't expelled the Judeo-Christian convictions that our lives, faith and fidelity belong to God and replaced them with the Humanist's total dependence on, devotion to, and deification of the State - have we? We're certainly not teaching our kids that in school - are we?
Teaching our children was never rendered to Caesar. So why are so many Christians content to let Caesar reprogram their children to become good little humanists? Home schooling or private schools in line with Christian ethics, and/or complete local control (not from Caesar's palace) of the school system is where we need to be. Right? Right???
Next time - Taxes.
